I mean are you crazy???? Create a Universe??? If you are thinking this my friend, then you are an intelligent reader, yeah, this is the thing that all intelligent readers have in common, QUESTIONING. But before starting the topic, I would like to tell you that this is not my thoughts or purely my article. I was holding an encyclopedia while reading this, And I also raised some awesome questions while reading this, so guys, do you want to know about the book much more??? If yes, then just go to the end of article and this will take you to the book, yeah. Well, guys its not easy to create a Universe, yes my friend, it will take several thousand of years to create a universe. So, I think its just a joke for me, but for those astronomers, scientist and what others say ‘em ‘interested in planets and universe etc.’. It’s a matter which is so serious. So, my friend, I am writing this article for those interested people. I hope you enjoy.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED

  • A massive explosive (for kinda explosion)
  • A huge amount of time (for at least 1 billion years)
  • Small galaxies
  • And some solar systems

THE SO CALLED PROCEDURE

  1. The 5 step procedure starts here. So are you ready my friends???? I think so( 😀 ). Its kinda excitement if you are serious about this(but this is a dream for me, and I don’t think no one is gonna take the challenge to take this fun :P). First, you have to create a big bang!!!! This means a great explosion that will be able to last for at least one trillionth part of a second. This explosion will create tiny particles of radiation that will be even smaller than the size of the full stop I use in this article. Many peoples interested in chemistry will know that. Yeah!!!
  2. Now, that you have created a massive explosion(I think that you have not created this in your home!!!). You will have to wait for the first atoms to form a mix of 76% of hydrogen and 24% of helium. How long???? According to me, this depends upon the size of explosion. Yeah!!! (Great scientists here, Correct me if I am saying something wrong!!! It would be a pleasure.) The great authors of the encyclopedia said that it would be some 380,000 years to wait.
  3. Now, that the atoms had mixed in the proportion that will be able to create some sexy stars. Then, make sure you are alive to see ‘em. Nah, Just Kidding :D!!! So, if taken authors as right. Then check after 1 billion years ago, that if the stars and the dwarf galaxies are formed or not.
  4. Coming to the fourth step, this is a lil bit confusion. Will you be alive to see your universe??? Are you that much living person??? Well, questions apart. The fourth step tells after 3 billions year of Big Bang, start to merge/add some new galaxies to your universe. To make it a complete universe with many galaxies.
  5. The last and the final step, Now that you have almost created the whole universe by yourself. So, don’t you want some solar system and some planets in your universe??? So, this is the right time to add ‘em to your universe.

Last year, I got to know about the technology Augmented Reality. First of all, by hearing (actually reading, but to make sense only :P) the name my mouth remain opened. I mean I was not actually known to this technology, but the name was so complicated for me that I couldn’t understand what it meant. And when I read the book about this, then it told the whole story to me. My mouth was still opened, but now, I was amazed that our globe has developed very much. So, I want to share this amazing technology with my readers too. So, are you ready??? I can’t hear you. Make me hear!!!

What is augmented reality???

Starting directly with the answer, Augmented reality is new technology (for last year, but this year, it is one year old and god knows if this article exists for some years, then I might say this is an old technology) which increases the means of reality. You couldn’t understand??? Simply, augmented means enhanced or increased and I think you know what reality is!!! So, it means that augmented reality is getting more from what we had seen. This is an amazing technology for travellers, students and other geeks. Some years back, a new technology was started called Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality meant that we are creating an imaginary reality. VR(virtual reality) is mostly used for creating an awesome game where a whole room is set as an environment or game world and you have no controller(game remote, joystick, keyboard, mouse etc.) except your body. This would be an awesome fun for excited gamers like me ;). But Augmented reality means more than that. Augmented Reality is to giving more than what you see.

Uses of Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality has many uses (simply one but many, understood 🙂 ), But several implementations. So, can I make lists to mention the uses of Augmented Reality, I think that you would not regret, but before reading I would like to tell you this is the technology which is used to make interactive mobile applications(you might be known to this in the form of app :P), here I go:-

  • It is used by several travelers (if they know about it :P) to find out what the freaky language has written in that f**ked board if they don’t know the particular language.
  • The most interesting uses of this technology for geeks and gamers is that they can use many good videos (by adding effects in the video what they had captured) and playing augmented games.
  • It is used by travelers or you can say archaeologists to find out the information about the architecture that they are watching in the city or the town in which they are. This means if you visit Taj Mahal now, you don’t have to have an guide which will have to tell you the repeated story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz with his own twists and spices.
  • This is used by many of the geeks or adventurers to find out that how much far they are from their destination. By simply turning their camera’s point of view to their destination.
  • And what??? Heard about Google Glasses. The finest use of Augmented Reality with Google’s crisps.

The Finest uses of the Great Technology “Augmented Reality”

So, we are going to talk about the finest uses of Augmented Reality. Don’t talk!!! Because who knows who now will create an awesome app or hardware which will kick those entire ass which are called Great. But still there are some apps and hardware that I recommend you to check out to find what Augmented Reality offers us:-

  • Nokia_city_lens

    Nokia City Lens – This is an awesome and I think free app by Nokia which is featuring on Nokia’s Windows Phones. But an awesome app! What this app do??? It tells you about the buildings and other architectural things in your locality by just pointing your camera to it. It is only available for Nokia Lumia Users.

  • Google Goggles – Don’t mess it up with Google Glasses. Google Glasses is a different thing and Google Goggle is different. Whats the difference??? The difference is that Google Glasses is a wearable hardware in the form of Spectacles. And the other one is Google Goggles is an smartphone application. What does it do??? It do a lot of things. You point out your camera towards any board in which there is a language written that is not recognizable and it will translate it for you. You point out your camera to a photo in which there exists a building about which you want to know!!! It will provide all the information about the building to you. And there are several lot more features in this app for you. And yeah!!! It can also solve a Sudoku puzzle for you.It is only available for Android and iOS users.
  • Wikitude World Browser – This app was awarded as the ‘Best AR(Augmented Reality) app’, one or two years ago. It is filled with details, directions and other snippets of information about the area in which you are and will be. And the feature I love in this app is that it provides you the location tagged tweets, flickr photos and last.fm users available in the web. It is available for Android, iOS(or iPhone users) and BlackBerry users.
  • AR Invaders – Now, it’s the turn of Gamers. I hadn’t used it before. Because it is only available in iOS(or you can say that it is only available for iPhone users). The app combines the iPhone camera with an alien invasion to create a unique and exciting gaming experience that makes you look silly, but it would be a great fun.
  • Google Glasses – This is a hardware which is not more than just a glass in looks. But this is much more than that in real. It is based on Google’s Android Operating System and connected to Internet, GPS and many much more things at a time. I would have listed this to the top of lists. But there are some reasons I couldn’t. So, the reason is

  1. It is only available in US till now. That’s why the people not in US are not known to this and can’t be able to get those facilities.
  2. This is very much expensive (millionaires, this sentence was not for you :P) for me. About 80,000 INR (if converted from USD to INR, according to my ideal Tech Experts) which means about 1500 USD.

Communication, can you live without it??? If you just said yes, then I would like to say you that you are lying my friend, Lying!!! No one can live without communication, YES, even the ones who can’t speak can communicate (I am not trying to hurt you if you are one of them, so please have a J on your cute face). So, how many of you do know about the history of Communication??? I think many do, but those who don’t know about it. Don’t worry my friend! When I am here, then why should you fear. Yeah??? So, you would know that the languages are not with us from the time of the creation of the earth. The languages did came up after a long period of time when we got enough time to work on our communication skills. So, it was a long process for improving our communication skills. The story starts from the time when human was not a human but what we call ‘em those who doesn’t wear full clothes??? Yeah, those earlymen!!! This is the story from that time. So, be ready to know about the history of communication.

Wall Paintings

This was the first attempt by the earlymen for conveying their messages to others. They painted something on the wall (whether their painting was very bad like me or not, but they did 😉 ). And the fact was that others understood what the first had painted and helped ‘em ofcourse if they demanded help and anything else. But can we now do it. Probably not. But we can still try if we want to. But who the hell will waste his/her time to do such silly things. Right???

Smoke Signals

I don’t know much more about this topic that I will be able to write a paragraph with 100 words. But this technique was helpful when someone was lost somewhere. What the person had to do was just to make a fire or what you call burn a fire. And then he/she has to make the smoke (produced by fire) go far by giving them direction by any object. I don’t know whether it was discovered before languages or after. But what I think is they would have come before languages. Do You agree???

Languages

According to me, after the above two, then came the languages. Till the best way to communicate. Many peoples came up with many languages like Sanskrit and English and Hindi and Greek and many more. But people says that Sanskrit was the first language made others says Greek some English and many people have many other languages as the first language made. What do you think??? Which one of them is correct??? Languages were the basic of communication. People communicated by this. But then many developments were made.

Pigeons

Pigeons, ahhh!!!, make remember me of the movie “Maine Pyaar Kiya”. Languages were made, but this was not possible to send messages to those who you can’t visit. But then people thought Pigeons as the mean to send their messages (letters :D) to those who want to. Pigeons were able to fly far enough. The best example of this is displayed in Salman Khan’s movie “Main Pyaar Kiya” which I mentioned above. Pigeons were used to send messages around 5th century BC.

MailBoxes

After Pigeons were used, people try to find many ways to communicate with each other like Heliographs, Signal Lamps, Trumpets and drums etc. But I don’t consider ‘em as great inventions. If you do, then you are free to share your knowledge about ‘em down in the commentary box. So, I don’t know the exact time when anyone come up with the idea of planting Mailboxes and Post Offices all around the Globe. But this was really a great invention or you can say Discovery. Whether it would take a long time for letters to reach their destination and for the reply to reach back for the sender. But my mum says that it was a good experience to wait eagerly day and night for my dad’s letter to reach their home and waiting for replies. Have you had such an experience??? I don’t have. I missed it

Telephones

And then around 1890s, there was a very interesting scientist Alexander Graham Bell. Who struggled very hard to improve the way we communicated??? And after very hard struggle, he comes up with a telephone that worked (Don’t know whether it was his idea or he copied uniquely just like Isaac Newton). He tested it with his assistant and the test succeeded. I have a question for all readers who are reading this. And I seriously don’t know about this answer. Please if you’ll be able to answer it, then I request you to answer. So the question is “When Bell tested the telephone with his assistant, Was then network able??? If yes, then how??? And If no, so how did he tested the telephones???”

And then this, that and this

I think you may know what happened after this. The telephones started to sell in Global Market. Then people tried to improve this. Computers come up as an Avatar for many of the technology lovers at that time. But this was not an portable one. The computers of that time were as big as our room. I think you might know. And then a International Network was established around 1960s which we now call “Internet”. Motorola’s owner comes up with an mobile phone in 1980s. Emails were also formed. And then Steve Jobs showed us a mobile phone with only a single button in 2007. And the Phone was called “Apple iPhone”. I don’t think that I have to tell you more about new form of Communication. You all know!

I have a very little knowledge about this type of artificial legs. The first thing is that these type of legs are the old version of latest bionic legs. The problem with these legs were that these legs were bulky. It was very difficult to control ’em.

The new artificial/bionic legs

Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) researchers have created a artificial leg that responds to electrical impulses from muscles in the patient’s hamstring with the user’s thoughts controlling the movement of bionic ankle and knee. The bionic leg was tested by Zac Vawter and he used it to climb to the top of the Willis Tower. He was able to climb the tower in just an hour without any breaks. And in this way, he proved that the leg is able to be used by anyone. 😀

Zac Vawter is the person who lost his right leg in an bike accident in 2009. And then he had to go through an surgical procedure called “targeted muscle re-innervation”. This procedure was able to assign(or you can say re-assign) him his nerves, which allowed him to have more natural control of his artificial leg(which was assigned to him during the surgical procedure). The leg also comes with a feature of a built-in “anti-stumble” feature. This means that if the machine(artificial leg) senses that the user is starting to stumble, then the machine starts to lift to avoid the obstruction and places the next step steadily to optimize balance.  RIC researchers are still working to improve this.

E-Skin is a technology or I must say a new medicine which is sensitive to touch and healing. This is nothing new but there are many substances that we need to develop in case of using it. This is not for common peoples but for those who have a problem with their skin. I was not familiar with this layer of skin until December 2012. But the proper information to me on this topic was delivered on April or may be May 2012. And I was very much excited to tell my readers about this topic.  So, yesterday, I was reading a technology magazine and there was a topic on E-Skin. So, readers are you interested in this topic????(you should be :p, if you’re not)

The Old E-skin

The old E-skin here I want to say that there are two versions of E-skin(according to me 🙂 ). The scientists are able to create these types of e-skin or synthetic skins. They are been developing this over years and years, but still the skin they had developed is nothing new and lack several features that human skin have.  These skins can only be used for makeover.  The features that these synthetic skins lack is their sensitivity to temperature, the sense of touch and the major feature that the skin lacks is that it can not be healed by itself.  So, it is not able for use. They are to be used for the rarest cases. Good prosthetic can not be build by them. These skins are used for Plastic Surgeries. This type of E-skin is used to make a layer over human skin layer to get the type of face you want. But this skin is not usually found to look real.

The New E-Skin

Before December 2012(because i don’t know the actual time 😦 ), many researchers at Stanford University developed a skin that is just more than the previous E-Skin. They said that they have created a synthetic material that has overcome the limitations of traditional synthetic skin. They told a lot about the skin that they had made. I couldn’t tell you what they had told in detailed. But here’s a brief for you about this new technology. The skin is now able to create smarter prosthetics, more resilient and they had build self-repairing electronics in it. And according to them, these features are making the skin a better synthetic skin then ever( i agree :), do you???). The main motive of the researchers was to find a material that could heal itself, as well as, conduct electricity. In this research, they found that the skin could heal itself if the material was made of a long chain of molecules which should be connected by hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen bonds allowed a weak attraction between differently charged region of atoms. The skin they made is highly flexible because the molecules in it can be split easily, but they tend to come back in the original shape. And they said, that the strength of the skin can be increased by embedding nickel atom in the material, that can also allow electric charges to be flown easily. So, that’s how they got a E-Skin like a human skin.

When I was in class 7th or 8th (probably, some 2 or 3 year ago), I didn’t knew anything about photography. Even now I don’t know much about photography. Photography is a passion for many of the people living in this earth. Even I am one of them, but what to do, when you don’t know even the P of photography(so sad,:( ).But I think there is a thing that I know about photography and many of the passionate photographers don’t know about. The thing that has confused me for years.

The Great Confusion

And the thing is what makes an image HD or what makes an image LD (new abbreviation by great discoverer Deepak Kashyap :P, just kidding)??? The fact is not dependent on the megapixel count of any camera. If so, then we don’t need to buy a professional camera to be a professional photographer, they would have owe a good camera phone like Nokia Pureview or Samsung Galaxy Zoom. The fact is dependent on the image sensor. The image sensor is the one who determines the quality of any image. The professional cameras are filled up with an image sensor which is eligible to take pictures at any state. But the camera phones aren’t. Why???(Question rises every time, any question???)Because the phones are not limited to just photography, they have a lot more to do!!! Not like cameras, the phones are very busy :P.

The types of Image Sensors

There are two type of image sensors, the one is used in camera phones (people says, mobile phones, do you know where the difference lies??? If yes, you are welcome to hit comments ;)) and the other one is used in cameras (digital, SLRs and DSLRs).

So, the two types are 1. CCD and the no.2 CMOS

The CCD sensors are the one which are to be used in cameras (not phones, just cameras) because they provide a better image quality. The CMOS sensors are usually cheaper than CCD sensors but these sensors (CCD sensors) provide a image quality that can not be avoided by you. CCD sensors are not usually used in the Mobile Phones because if they are to be used in mobile phones, then it would put a great load on the phone’s system(according to my philosophy, I don’t know about others philosophies).

CMOS sensors do provide a good quality of images but the quality is not even comparable with CCD sensors. As a result, a CMOS sensor doesn’t use much of the phone’s (or device’s) battery. This results in a high portability of the device. The photograph we capture with a CMOS sensor camera doesn’t use much of the phone’s memory and this helps in capturing (or clicking, taking etc.) more and more photographs.

And that’s the thing I can brag about with my friends who even know P of Photography. There are much more things that I would like to tell you about Photography.

 The Megapixel Myth

The biggest myth about the cameras is the megapixel count. I can’t make understand my friends that the megapixel is not the one who can result in better photographs (I don’t think that its my fault that they are not getting what I say, maybe they are not as much intelligent as me J).

Then why are the cameras tagged with a megapixel count???(yeah, this would be the question raised in your mind) You’re so much attentive if you are passing through this question while reading this article.

Don’t worry I will clear all your doubts. The megapixel count is not to brag about good image quality but the megapixel determines how big photograph the camera is able to capture in a good quality. This is not directly relating with image quality. But indirectly somewhere it says that if you a have a bigger image with better quality, then (according to my philosophy) when you shrink it, you will see a better quality (its my thinking or you can say philosophy).

So, here are the sizes of a photograph that is able to be captured by certain megapixel count

3MP —–5 x 7 inches to 8 x 10 inches

4MP —–8 x 10 inches to 8.5 x 11 inches

5MP —–8.5 x 11 inches to 9 x 12 inches

6MP —–9 x 12 inches to 11 x 14 inches

8MP —– 14 x 17 inches to 16 x 20 inches

So, come on, thank me if you didn’t knew about what is megapixel count doing on the camera??? And scold me if you knew this much!!!

CCD – Charge Coupled Device

CMOS – Complementary Metal Oxide SemiConductors

MP – Megapixel

SLR – Single Lens Reflex

DSLR – Digital Single Lens Reflex

Disease detecting sensors are new technology to find out whether the patient is going under any crucial disease. There are many diseases, that need a quicker operation for the best results to be shown. But unfortunately, there are some diseases which are very hard to be diagnosed in their starting stages like AIDS. These diseases are not very easy to be recognized in their initial stages. Therefore, it is hard to help out an AIDS(or a person with similar disease) patient 😦 . So, after working a lot to recognize AIDS in its earlier stage. British scientist had came up with a solution that might identify the disease in its earlier stages. I got to know about this in Dec. 2012 while reading a magazine(reading magazine is a good habit, you must carry out :P, just a suggestion). But that was not the time that I can introduce my readers with this invention(because I didn’t own a blog at that time 😦 ). But not to worry, I have come up with the information about this disease. Many days ago (feel like an ancient invention :P), back in Dec. 2012. There existed an Imperial College in London, England. Where doctors and scientists worked out for medicines(probably not for their muscles :D) for curing AIDS. But they come up with a medicine which can identify symptoms of AIDS in its early stage.  The super-sensitive  prototype sensors made the doctors and the scientists to detect the symptoms of the disease with naked eyes. They had to use nanotechnology to analyze the blood samples. Theses sensors  had a positive reaction to p24(a protein that indicates the early symptoms of HIV infection), or PSA(a protein that indicates prostate cancer) and generates irregular clumps of nano particles that emit a blue color in a solution that is kept in a disposable container. But if the sensor(or you can say, indicator) shows an negative reaction, then it causes the nano particles to separate into a ball-like shapes which creates a reddish blue colour. These colours are easily distinguishable with naked eyes.

Simple HIV test which uses saliva to determine HIV infection already existed before that, but , they can only detect the virus if the virus is present in highly concentrated amounts. The concentration of p24 protein is high in the first few weeks of infection, so, the test like that invented by British Scientists is the one which is able to be used for quick diagnosis at the early stages of infection. This make us able to not to wait for the virus to be spread in the whole body of the patient.

The team of scientists behind the project says that their technology is 10 times more sensitive than current methods used for diagnosis than current methods used for the diagnosis of via similar biomarking systems, and, in fact, they showed viral loads in an HIV-infected patients that were previously undetectable.
